Cool & Easy secured the contract having tendered for the job to design supply and install the new heating and cooling Air Conditioning System at Covetrus.
Our Challenge
We were contracted to design, supply and install a new heating and cooling Air Conditioning System for Covetrus storage site based in Dumfries, Scotland. This was carried out in house along with the installation of the systems, builders and electrical works required.
The challenge? Install a state-of-the-art air conditioning and ventilation system in a busy urban environment, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding area.
Our Solution
We designed and installed a custom Toshiba VRV system for precise temperature control
We implemented energy-efficient air handling units to maintain air quality in the storage facility
We integrated the new system with existing infrastructure to minimize disruption
We conducted thorough testing and commissioning to ensure optimal performance
We now carry out full Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) ensuring that the equipment is kept fully operational and achieving the lowest possible running cost.
The result? A cutting-edge HVAC system that enhances the storage and office conditions at Covetrus, supporting its status as a leading veterinary supply company.

I have worked with the Team at Cool & Easy on 2 large projects. Project 1 was the design and installation for 2 HVAC systems for our office buildings that were to be refurbished as part of a major upgrade. This was completed on time and in budget with minimal disruption to the daily tasks conducted by the office based Teams.
